Nico Postiglione is a Chilean-American director and screenwriter, born in San Francisco. His work blends emotionally driven, highly visual storytelling with precise staging and hands-on editing shaped by rhythm. With over 15 years in commercial filmmaking, he has directed campaigns across theAmericas—especially in Chile, Colombia, and Peru—refining a disciplined cinematic language through advertising. His debut feature Immersion (2021) won Best Director and Best First Feature at the Guadalajara International Film Festival and received the Special Jury Prize at Tallinn Black Nights; it is available on Prime Video. He followed with The Evil That Binds Us (Todos los males), a Chile–Mexico co-production selected for the Cannes Marché du Film and premiering in the Official Selection at the 2025 Sitges Film Festival. Across formats, his signature is cinematic atmosphere, refined with dense aesthetics, human tension, and images that linger beyond the cut.
